We prepare our agar mixture in small batches at Boise Mushroom Company in Boise, Idaho. First, we mix the agar ingredients. Next, we pour the mixture into clean 90 mm Petri dishes in front of our HEPA-filtered flow hood.
After the agar sets, we inspect the plates and prepare them for packaging. Finally, we seal the plates together as a convenient 10-pack.
