Injection-port bags provide a convenient access point for inoculation. Alternatively, growers who work with their own preferred sterile technique can select bags without an injection port.

Hydrated and Sterilized In-House

We prepare our grain bags at Boise Mushroom Company in Boise, Idaho. First, we select and hydrate the grain. Next, we load the prepared grain into mushroom cultivation bags. Finally, we process the bags in our in-house autoclave using controlled heat and pressure.
After processing, the grain bag is ready for the grower to use in their preferred mushroom cultivation process.

Because different growers prefer different grains, this product gives you several choices on a single page. Popcorn offers large individual kernels that are easy to observe. Whole oats provide numerous individual grains throughout the bag. Wheat berry is another traditional option for mushroom cultivation. Meanwhile, milo provides smaller grains and many potential inoculation points throughout the bag.
